Vendor and Solicitor Permit
Vendor and Solicitor Permits will be issued at the Front Desk of the Police Station; Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, excluding holidays. Please call 419-897-7023 for an appointment.
Permits will be valid for 30 calendar days and will cost $25. There is no longer a one-day option. Ice Cream truck permits will be valid for the current calendar year and will cost $50.
Two passport photos are required for all applicants.
Applications will be processed within 24 hours of receipt. This is not a change from the prior ordinance; however, historically the permits were issued immediately upon request.
You can print the PDF form, fill it out, and take it into the police station to obtain a permit. You can also fill out the application form at the police station.
The police station is located at 109 E. Dudley St. The front doors are located facing the courtyard shared with the Municipal Building. The Front Desk is directly across from the entry doors.
