Water Rates. 

Rates for water used as registered by a meter or meters on a water line shall be charged at the following rates: 
· For the first 5,000 gallons per quarter, with a minimum charge of $17.75 for 5,000 gallons or less: $3.55 per 1,000 gallons: 
· For the next 20,000 gallons per quarter: $2.83 per 1,000 gallons; 
· For the next 75,000 gallons per quarter: $2.76 per 1,000 gallons; 
· For the next 100,000 gallons per quarter: $2.56 per 1,000 gallons; 
· For all over 200,000 gallons per quarter: $2.24 per 1,000 gallons.

Said base rates shall increase or decrease in increments which are equivalent in terms of percentage to any increase or decrease in "bulk rates" charged by the City of Toledo for sale of water to The City of Maumee. 

Sewer Rates. 

Sewer charges shall be based on the quantity of water used, or sewage discharged, at the following rates: 
· For the first 25,000 gallons per quarter: $4.62 per 1,000 gallons, with a minimum charge of $23.10 for 5,000 gallons or less. 
· For the next 75,000 gallons per quarter: $4.52 per 1,000 gallons; 
· For the next 100,000 gallons per quarter: $4.39 per 1,000 gallons; 
· For all over 200,000 gallons per quarter: $4.16 per 1,000 gallons. 

Utility Line Inspections. 

Fees for utility line inspections shall be determined and computed by the Director of Public Service based upon estimated actual cost to the City. 

Fees for Division of Water.

Water Tap Costs: 
· 1" water taps $530.00 
· 1-1/2" and 2" water taps actual cost of parts and labor 
· Water taps over 2" contractor shall expose the water main, and furnish and mount the tapping sleeve and valve, as specified by the Division of Water.

Costs for Tap of Water Mains Only: 
· 4" tap $425.00 · 6" tap $425.00 
· 8" tap $425.00 · 10" tap $425.00 

Water Meter Charges: 
· New meter charges: ½" x 5/8" meter $80.00, 5/8" x ¾" meter $80.00, More than 5/8" x ¾" meter actual cost. 
· Repair of damaged meter actual cost of parts and labor. 
· Meter testing $15.00 
· Curb Box Charges: Lid replacement $10.00, Top section replacement $15.00 

Swimming Pool Water Charges: 
· Fills - $4.00 per thousand gallons, actual labor costs to set and remove meter and hose. 
· Topping off - once a year sewer credit, based on reading from meter. 

Inspection and Testing for New Water Lines: 
· Inspection of new water line $25.00 per hour 
· Pressure test of new water or fire line $40.00 (Contractor to furnish hydrostatic pump and operator) 
· Bacteria test on new water or fire line $ 60.00 per set of 2 (Contractor to flush lines and provide acceptable sampling outlet) bacteria samples 

Miscellaneous Services: 
· Turn on service $10.00 
· Turn off service no charge 
· Overtime call out, due to customer's problem $25.00 per hour 
· Returned check charge $20.00
· Ach Debit Refused $10.00
