Fees and Charges
  • Annual Fire Inspections 
    Fees for annual fire inspections and permits shall be as follows:
     
    · Vehicle or marine filling or service stations $15.00 
    · Premises for storage of motor fuels $10.00 
    · Wholesale bulk stations $50.00 
    · Paint stores $15.00 
    · Paint factories $50.00 
    · Commercial spray painting operations $15.00 
    · Auto repair garages $10.00 
    · Sign shops and silk screen operations $15.00 
    · Chemical manufacturing and storage facilities $75.00 
    · Premises storing liquefied petroleum gas in containers: 
    · Capacity in excess of 30 gallons up to 60 gallons $15.00 
    · Establishment with over 25 cases of matches $10.00 
    · Fire extinguisher or systems establishment $15.00 
    · Fireworks establishment $50.00 
    · Establishment using tent or air supported structure $10.00 
    · Permit for storage and/or retail display of Level 2 & 3 aerosol products exceeding 500 pounds $25.00 
    · Permit for compressed gases $25.00 
    · Inspection for day care or foster home $15.00
  • Fire Service Charge 
    The City and owners of private fire hydrants attached to City water distribution systems shall pay a fire hydrant rental of five dollars ($5.00) per quarter per hydrant. Where fire mains are connected to the City water system, a charge of two dollars ($2.00) quarterly per inch of diameter of such mains shall be made. 
  • False Alarm Fees
    Owners of alarm systems shall pay a fee for false alarms as follows: 

    · 2nd false alarm in one calendar month $50.00 
    · 3rd or more false alarm in one calendar month ( per alarm) $75.00 
  • Public Records Requests 
    Photocopies of public records shall be provided at no charge to the public. When the request is for a copy of a public record on a different medium (including, but not limited to, blueprint, audio tape, videotape, computer tape, floppy disk, photograph, etc.), the cost for providing the copy shall be the actual cost incurred by the City for materials and fees, if any. 
  • Ambulance and Emergency Medical Service Rates 
    The rates for the use of the ambulance and emergency medical service of the City shall be as follows: 
  • Maumee Residents-Basic Life Support 
    · Emergency ambulance transportation service for one patient to St. Luke's Hospital $325.00 
    · Emergency ambulance transportation service per person for two patients in same ambulance to St. Luke's $270.00 
    · Emergency ambulance transportation service for more than two patients in the same ambulance to St. Luke's Hospital shall be the indicated rate below divided by the number of patients $550.00 
    · In addition to the above, mileage shall be charged for transportation of patients to hospitals other than St. Luke's Hospital at the following rate: Per loaded mile $ 8.00 
    · Scheduled non-emergency invalid, sick, transfer, or hospital test transportation service shall be discontinued unless no other service provider is available, in which case the above rates shall apply. 
  • Non-Resident-Basic Life Support 
    · Emergency ambulance transportation service for one patient to St. Luke's Hospital $375.00 
    · Emergency ambulance transportation service per person for two patients in same ambulance to St. Luke's $310.00 
    · Emergency ambulance transportation service for more than two patients in the same ambulance to St. Luke's Hospital shall be the indicated rate below divided by the number of patients $670.00 
    · In addition to the above, mileage shall be charged for transportation of patients to hospitals other than St. Luke's at the following rates: Per loaded mile $ 8.00 
    · Scheduled non-emergency invalid, sick, transfer, or Hospital test transportation service shall be discontinued unless no other service provider is available, in which case the above rates shall apply. 
  • Resident or Non-Resident Advanced Life Support 
    · Advanced life support run, per person $450.00 

    There shall be no charge for emergency medical treatment.
