| The Maumee Police Division's philosophy of
community oriented policing seeks to create a partnership
with our citizens. The philosophy encourages citizens to
develop a sense of cooperation with the police in our common
goal of providing a safe and secure community in which to
live and work. The Citizens' Police Academy, the soon to be
implemented Students' Police Academy, the School Resource
Officer program and patrol sectoring are a few of the
initiatives that have been developed from the COP
philosophy. We encourage you to explore these programs and
become a partner in keeping the City of Maumee the unique
and safe community it is today. |
