Whether large or small, companies representing every sector of the economy have found the City of Maumee to be the ideal business location. Various Fortune 500 companies such as UPS, Eaton, and many others have significant facilities in our community. Two other Fortune 500 firms, the Andersons and Dana Corporation, call Maumee “home” as both maintain their corporate headquarters here.
Upon closer examination, business owners will discover the many reasons why Maumee is an outstanding business location: great transportation links, low taxes, low crime, and a supportive business community. For employees, Maumee offers a low cost of living, quality city services, and a highly ranked public school system. Given these attributes, it is no wonder that our City is home to Arrowhead Park, northwest Ohio’s leading business community as well as the location of one of the area’s leading hospitals (ProMedica – St. Luke’s), and a major regional mall (The Shops at Fallen Timbers). Complimenting all of these establishments are 15 hotels with almost 1,300 rooms plus numerous restaurants, parks, and a quaint historic downtown.
On this economic development page, you will find information and tools to help your company find just the right spot to do business in our community. So take a look at what we have to offer and you will find what many others have found before, that Maumee is a great place to invest!
