Dan Hazard -- resigned effective 12 midnight 12/04/17

Dan was elected to Maumee City Council in 2011.  He serves as Chairman of the Finance Committee and the Maumee Municipal Court Committee.  He is a member of the Safety Public Utilities and Municipal Code Committees.  As Chairman of the Finance Committee, Dan works hard to ensure that your tax dollars are spent efficiently so that Maumee taxes remain low.  He is always looking for ways to cut government spending while maintaining the high quality of life for Maumee citizens.  Another priority for Dan is increasing transparency in city government because he believes that private citizens’ access to information is essential for a free and prosperous society.

Dan is an attorney who lives and works in Maumee.  He is a graduate of The Ohio State University and the University of Toledo College of Law.  As a third-generation citizen of Maumee, Dan and his wife, Katie, are raising four children, three of whom are old enough to attend Maumee City Schools.  He is active in Maumee Rotary, St. Paul’s Church, Maumee Little League, and serves as a board member for the Maumee-Monclova Joint Economic Development Zone, amongst other community involvement.

“I am honored and very blessed to have been elected to serve the citizens of Maumee.  Please call me at my office at (419) 893-4880 or on my cell phone any time: (419) 344-3414.”
