Greetings from the Department of Public Service:

The Department of Public Service provides many of the services that you as residents of the City expect but don't think too much about. In our various Divisions we are responsible for water and sewer service, maintenance of the parks and rights-of-way, collecting garbage and recycling, cleaning up after storms, caring for Riverside Cemetery, operating the Summer swimming program, cleaning and maintaining the streets and keeping them clear of ice and snow, collecting leaves in the Fall, taking care of ball fields, tennis courts and City buildings, planting flowers and trees around the City, and many more responsibilities too numerous to list.

Within our operation are six divisions: Operations, Construction, Natural Resources, Water, Sewer, and Recreation. Within the website, are details on some of the services about which we get asked the most. 

Finally, we are here to be of service to you, the people of Maumee. We live in the community and are proud of it and we want you to be also. If there is some way that we can help, please stop by and visit us.
